Freely Pouring Out … of our self… to our kids.
This is hard! Anyone else?
I mean giving up sleep to get up in the night. Cooking and cooking and cooking some more. Cleaning the kitchen after yet one more snack. Grocery shopping.
The physical pouring out for our kids is end.less.
And then there is the mental, emotional and spiritual pouring out what we do. The prayers we pray, the verses we recite, the stories we tell, the lessons we teach.
Whew.
The thing that empties my cup the fastest is my kids. The people that need my cup fullest is my family.
Believe me… it is a vicious cycle. Empty fill empty fill. Everyday.
This area of the website is created to encourage you in your mommy journey. It’s to encourage ME in this mommy journey. I need it.
You won’t find answers here, just me, another mom, trying to pour out to my kids.
