Satan is Out to Ruin Our Worship.

I believe one way we worship God is through our relationships. In John 13:35, the Bible says that people will know we are Christians by the love we have for each other.
Let’s be clear here. Relationships are hard, messy, sticky, and nasty at times. I think every one of us has been in a relationship that has been less than ideal. In-laws, out-laws, brothers, sisters, friends, parents, co-workers, church members, children. . . The list goes on and on and on. There are so many relationships.
Relationships are a playground for satan. Satan knows that verse in John. He knows what the impact would be if Christians truly loved. He wants to make relationships awful in every sense of the word, because he knows loving relationships are worship.
He is out to stop all worship. He is out to ruin our relationships.
Sometimes it doesn’t matter what we do; a restored and healthy relationship cannot be had by both sides. Yet, even without complete reconciliation, there can still be love. True love has boundaries. True love doesn’t become a doormat. True love sees the other person as God sees them. {Listen to a podcast series on Boundaries; https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/learning-little-lessons/id1484351615?i=1000463371497}
We can worship God by extending forgiveness. We can worship God by setting clear limits to not be used or abused in a similar situation again. Both are worship.
Satan is, of course, out to ruin our peace in any way that he can.
When he ruins our peace, he ruins our worship.
Don’t let satan ruin your worship.
