#5
Time to do something you enjoy
Five or ten minutes a day spent doing something you enjoy is life-changing
I believe every homeschool mom should have three types of friends
- A friend beside you. A local friend who also homeschools . . . or maybe two or three of these friends. Friends close by, maybe they have kids your kids’ ages. A friend you can see in person frequently.
- A friend ahead of you. A mentor, a friend who is a couple steps ahead in the journey, someone to cheer you on and remind you, that you can do it. This kind of friend can be virtual, or can be mix of lots of people through books, talks, podcasts, etc. In person is best, but virtual could work.
- A friend behind you. Someone in the stage of life that you just came through. Someone with kids younger than you. Someone you can look back at, remember where you were, and remember that God was faithful in that season. This friend is someone you can help.
