This kit gives you nine weeks’ worth of content. There is a theme for each day, questions that promote conversations surrounding the theme, bonus questions for if you have more time at the end, and a book recommendation to go with each day.

The Leader Packet contains 19 pages: a leader page and a copy of each of the mom worksheets. The packet for the moms is 12 pages.

*The first week’s topic is about homeschooling — the rest of the weeks could fit for any mom’s group.

Basic Mom’s Hour Layout:

Quick intro & reminder of the goal (5min)
Review of last week’s theme / allow time for anyone to share if they didn’t get a chance. (5 min)
Introduce the theme for today and possibly answer the question to start the conversation off. (5 minutes)
Go around the room, each mom sharing her story (30-40 minutes)
If extra time, go on to the bonus question. (10-20 minutes)
Talk about the book recommendation for the week (5 minutes)
As you close up, mention next’s week’s topic, so they can be thinking about their story. (until class is over)
