Introducing Rescue; A Homeschool Mom’s Devotional

September 3, 2020 Leave a Comment

My heart goes out to all the new homeschoolers starting up this fall. Whether pandemic schooling, totally homeschooling, or a mixture between the two — my heart goes out to you.

Those of us who have been homeschooling for years, my heart goes out to you too. Even though our school hasn’t changed lots — we are still missing things. The co-ops, field trips, and get-togethers sure makes the time feel longer. The days feel lonelier. I know people say nothing has changed for us… but we know it has. Sigh.

Soooooo…. a group of my homeschool friends and I have put together a homeschool devotional book to help us through 2020-2021.

Introducing 🎉🎉🎉

Rescue; a homeschool mom’s devotional

Rescue includes 140 devotions, designed to be a 3-5 minute read. Each day includes a Bible verse, prayer, and an additional reference for further reading. This devotional is a perfect mix of practical tips, deep thoughts, encouragement, laugher, and lessons.

We created this book to:

  • remind you that you are not alone
  • point you to Truth, Jesus, and the Bible
  • refocus your eyes on the big picture (your children’s hearts) rather than the crayons, laundry, and dust around you

Together we point you to The Rescue — Jesus

Check it out and order a copy in the store — or on Amazon.

Welcome!

LearningLittleLessons is here to encourage the weary woman to see everyday as a series of little lessons God is using to point us to Jesus.

I pray that as you read the articles you relate to my little lessons and see similar ways that God is working in your own life.

I pray that every word of this site encourages you to fill up your cup with Jesus so you can freely pour out to others.

When we lived loved... other things fade to the background. Messy houses, piles of papers to grade, dishes to do, spelling words to review, multiplication flash cards ... if we do it because we are loved instead of FOR love; the difference is transforming!
May we remember to live loved.
